Frail words collapse is definitely a fun listen but just doesn't hold the same lasting appeal as the others. I feel like the album has some highlights (94 hours, forever, elegy) but aside from that the album tends to blend in too much and I can't differentiate when a song ends and begins, etc. It lacks the cohesiveness of the later albums.

Jan 28, 2007 · My favorite album from my favorite band. It sounds so awesome, I use to own the album 13 years ago when I was 17. There's just nothing like As I Lay Dying. Since I owned this album this year since January 4, 2017 I've listened to it 45 times, I know because I keep double journals. I love to hear Losing Sight, Repeating Yesterday and Morning Waits.
